Today we have started our new A2 course of Media Studies. The whole course consists of 50% coursework and 50% as a written response in exam conditions.The whole idea of the coursework is to create a promotional campaign which includes:

My personal preferences in music would vary depending on the mood I am in, although I could say that I enjoy upbeat rap or pop songs on the whole. Sometimes, I do feel the need for a more organic tone to the ear, for example, songs from Kodaline, The XX, Tourist and Ed Sheeran.
The second part of the course includes learning about the business side of the music industry and about different theorists like Negus and Dyer.
Today is our second lesson and I am looking forward to starting this new media course!
