Song: White Tiger
The Concept
The song creates a very happy visual picture, which makes me think that the video should have a lot of different colours. In my imagination the video would have three to four different sets. The first set would be a very naturalistic of a girl sitting at a piano playing it whilst singing. There would be medium close ups, medium long shots and close ups of her playing the piano and singing.
The actress would have to play a big role in this video as the song sends a very positive vibe when listening to it. The second setting would be a band and the main vocalist singing at the camera, this would be set outside either near a waterfront or a bright wall with graffiti. An alternative of this could be filming in the studio with a green screen or just a plane white background.
The next setting would be in the studio, but it would consist of lots of balloons or kids balls of pastel colors in a bathtub or just floating around in order for it to look like the lead singer is swimming/laying in balloons. In this setting it would be essential to focus on close ups and medium close ups.
The format and genre of 'White Tiger' reminds me of a lot of songs from Jess Glynne. For example Jess Glynne became known from her single with Clean Bandit 'Rather Be' and is now dominating the UK Pop charts with her own singles. The style of the music video that I would like to produce would be similar to hers in the way that its very uplifting and bright.
